Search:

  • <GeneTable>
    Making gene function table

    • These forms simply add information about gene function and predicted subcellular localization for query genes.

  • <EdgeAnnotation>
Extracting coexpression data for query gene pairs

    • This form returns coexpression data with following information;
      • PPIs described in HPRD and IntAct.
      • Conserved coexpression (Human, Mouse, Rat or Arabidopsis).

  • <CoexSearch>
Unified coexpressed gene list from multiple query genes

    • This form returns unified coexpressed gene list from a couple of query genes (usually less than 10) that strongly coexpress with each other.
    • To construct unified coexpressed gene list,
      1. COXPRESdb first makes coexpressed genes list for each of query genes.
      2. Then the MR of each gene list is averaged.
      3. Finally, coexpressed genes are sorted along with the averaged MR.

  • <TissueDataExtractor>
Extracting tissue-specific expression data for human

    • This form returns tissue-specific expression data shown in COXPRESdb locus pages.
    • This data is derived from GSE3526. The replicates for each of 65 tissues were averaged in base-2 logarithm.

  • <BLAST>
    BLAST search

    • Entrez Gene ID search from protein sequences for human and mouse.

  • <PPIsearch>
    PPI search

    • This form searches PPIs used in COXPRESdb, which are downloaded from HPRD and IntAct.
